German Cake What kind of German cake is actual not only depends on the time of the year but also, the region, where people live and their traditions. A very common cake is the plum cake. People most prepare it in the summer during the plum season. The receipes of these cakes are very different and offer a wide range of ideas for a good German plum cake. Those cakes are often used as dessert or just as snack with whipped cream. For shure there are a lot of people who feel a bit uncompfortable to prepare a cake on their own so many stores and online shops also offer a cake mix where you just have to add some plums and maybe some eggs, butter and milk. 
German Biscuit Cake How much of those things should be added is given on the preparation guideline of each product. Another famous German cake is the “Bienenstich” it is a bisquit cake with almonds. Sometimes this cake is filled with whipped cream or vanilla blank mange. A cake mix for the “Bienenstich” can also be bought in many stores and online shops. But usually there are a lot of things left, which must be done to prepare a real “Bienenstich”. Especially for Christmas there are a lot of differen cakes made in Germany. For example there is the “Nürnberger Christstollen” which must rest some weeks before it is ready for the Christmas Eve. Also “Baumkuchen” is a German Cake and a specialitiy which must be prepared very slow and in a special way. Baumkuchen for example can easily be bought in stores or online shops. As this cake is mostly covered with differend kinds of chocolate it is way longer durable than a usual apple pie or any cake which contains any fruits. Topic: German Cake
